Johannes Albers: Mittag und Ewigkeit 16. March 2023 - 15. April 2023

Friedrich Nietzsche wanted to call his book on the theory of the "return of the same" "noon and eternity" for a while. Linear thinking with a beginning, end and final goal should be abandoned in favor of circular, constantly moving thinking. Eternity is therefore "crooked" and not straight. If you pursue this thinking, you suddenly realize that you may not be as alive in life as you are attached to life. Countless waves, cycles of appearances and disappearances hit our beaches. This exhibition lacks a final reflection on which one could rest. One goal is just a casino chip amidst a plethora of multiplicity.
